I’ve spent my career doing the things that happen after the big idea.

I’m a strategist, creator, problem-solver, builder, marketer, coach, trainer, and professional figure-it-outer. I work with entrepreneurs and businesses to take an idea from “We should do this” all the way to “Look, it’s real!”

​

My experience spans multiple industries and a slightly ridiculous number of skill sets. I’ve worked on everything from selling multimillion-dollar industrial equipment internationally to helping small businesses develop their brands, websites, marketing strategies, sales processes, and customer materials. I’ve built websites, created marketing campaigns, written and designed print materials, developed instructional manuals, created presentations, produced videos, published books, created social media content, and figured out the technology required to make ideas work.

Teaching and training have been a big part of my career, too. I’ve worked as a trainer and coach for Bank of America, helping people learn new skills and processes and actually apply them. Later, I took that experience in a completely different direction and helped start a blended-learning academy in Morocco serving students in grades 5–12. That experience taught me something I still use today: knowing something isn't enough. You have to be able to explain it, teach it, and help someone actually use it.

I can move between the big picture and the tiny details without losing the plot.

I can sit down with an entrepreneur and help figure out what the business should actually be, who it should serve, what it should sell, how it should be positioned, and what needs to happen to get it into the market. Then I can turn around and build the website, write the copy, create the marketing materials, make the videos, develop the sales tools, organize the systems, and start putting the thing in front of actual humans. I can also teach you how to do all of that yourself.

That combination is what makes the way I work a little different.

I’m not a consultant who hands you a 47-page strategy document and wishes you luck. And I’m not a designer who only wants to make things pretty. I like the messy middle where strategy becomes actual things.

My philosophy is simple:

Ideas are great.
Ideas that become things are better.

That’s why I wrote I Do the Things. It’s for solopreneurs who are serious about turning an idea into a real business, and it reflects the same approach I bring to my work with clients.

I help people figure out what needs to happen, and then I **do the things** that make it happen.
